Terms of service
Effective October 14, 2026. These terms govern Halo, provided by Superbloom Labs. By authorizing Halo for a store, you confirm you may act for that merchant and accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Using Halo
Halo discovers potential creators among your customers through exact-email matching, displays their available social profiles and purchases, and provides exports and merchant notifications. Directory coverage, profile accuracy and follower snapshots can change. Review results before acting; a match does not establish a person’s identity, endorsement or consent to outreach.
Messages and optional sequences send emails you author through a connected Gmail account or verified sending domain. You control the sender, recipients and schedule and are responsible for message content, required notices and permission to contact each recipient. Halo checks recorded Shopify marketing permission and honors sequence unsubscribes. Connecting a mailbox or finding a creator does not itself grant permission to send marketing. Provider limits, revoked access or uncertain delivery can hold sending for review.
Use Halo only for your authorized store and lawful business purposes. Protect account access and downloaded exports. Do not resell the directory, share another store’s information, use results for harassment or discrimination, or circumvent access controls. Halo does not authorize unsolicited marketing or consequential decisions about individuals.
Access, fees and termination
Plans, prices, trial terms and effective changes are presented for approval through Shopify before a charge. Plan allowances control access to matched creators; discovery continues in the background while installed. There are no automatic overage charges. Previously unlocked results remain accessible while subscribed; access ends when the subscription expires. You may stop using Halo and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend access to address misuse or security issues; we will give reasonable notice when practical. Data handling on termination is described below.
Data-processing terms
- The merchant determines the purpose and lawful basis for its customer processing. Superbloom Labs processes Shopify customer data on the merchant’s documented instructions to provide the selected Halo features, for the duration of installation. Data categories and service providers are described in our Privacy Policy.
- The merchant provides required notices and obtains any required consent. It must communicate applicable objections, corrections and erasure requests to us or through Shopify. Discovery and export do not confer consent to marketing.
- We limit store-data processing to the service and security purposes described, restrict personnel to authorized confidential access, and use appropriate encryption and access controls. We do not sell store data or combine it into a shared directory.
- We use Vercel, Supabase and Resend as service providers; connected Gmail features also use Google. We remain responsible for our processing obligations and will notify merchants of material provider changes. If a transfer needs additional legal safeguards or an agreement, those safeguards must be in place before the affected processing begins.
- We assist with verified data-rights requests and reasonable compliance inquiries. We notify affected merchants without undue delay after confirming a personal-data breach, with available information and updates.
- On uninstall we stop processing and delete app-held store personal data within 48 hours. We apply Shopify erasure requests and keep any necessary restricted backup from reintroducing deleted records. Account deletion and additional assistance are available through support.
Service and changes
Halo depends on Shopify and other service providers; availability and data completeness are not guaranteed. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. We will communicate material changes before they take effect.
